Database Update

    I am getting this message with a update button on my dashboard.

    “GeoDirectory data update – We need to update your directory database to the latest version.”

    Just curious why and if it is safe to do. Started to run it and and gives a message that it is strongly advised to run a backup. I recently upgraded to the most recent gd version.

    The upgrade to the V2 version is not complete until you run the database updater.

    This site is not an upgrade. It was developed with ver 2

    We released some updates that require a db change.

    This change is updating some country names that were having issues with accents.
