    Hi guys,

    I think I’m experiencing some kind of database error. When I go on my listings it gives me hundreds of errors like this:

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘Afghanistan’ in /home/petshare/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/geodir_location_functions.php on line 599

    I fixed it with the custom function via the My Custom Functions plugin: error_reporting(E_ERROR);

    But I wanted to ask, is this something to be concerned about?

    For context, Siteground technical support did a PHP reset on the site a few minutes before I first noticed this to resolve a 502 gateway error I was getting. Maybe that was the cause?

    Anyway, do let me know what you think. Login details are below if you need to get access.

    P.S. I wanted to ask, if I use plugins to input custom CSS and functions, am I right to think they’ll be retained even when the theme gets updated?

    Cheers,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew, if you use plugins to input custom CSS and functions, then that data will be retained when the theme gets updated.

    You should delete the SG cache plugin, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#w3cache

    You should also add your licences at WP Plugins.

    I’ll get one of the developers to have a look at your other question after the weekend.

    Thanks

    Thanks very much, I’ll take care of that, and will wait to hear from the developers.
