    Hi guys, I just ran all of the GD diagnostics tests and they all came back fine. However, straight after doing that, I get the white screen with this error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage22/bo/ok/as/bookastall.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/db-language.php on line 35

    I’ve tried looking in my files in 123-reg but I have zero idea what I’m looking for, and when I finally found the file that is mentioned in the error (after looking for 35 minutes), my PC can’t open it

    Do you guys know how to help?
    Thank you
    Yvette

    Hi,

    why did you run all the script on the GD Tools? That’s something you do only if something is not working and you are supposed to be running only what’s needed.

    You ran “Load custom fields translation”, which is only needed if you want to translate your custom fields…

    You probably had an illegal character in a custom field and that is now breaking te syntax of that file.

    We will need FTP credentials to be able to fix this. I can’t seem to find them in the link provided.

    Please ask to your hosting support to provide FTP credentials.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    you had illegal characters in line 35 and 81

    35 __('Please enter a contact number. This won\'t be displayed on your listing', 'geodirectory');
    81 __('shop\'s crafters', 'geodirectory');

    Same error, the double .

    I cleaned that and now it should work. Please avoid running GD tools randomly.

    The map is not loading because most of your plugins are not up to date. You should start by updating the core plugin and then update all add-ons.

    I also noticed that you bought a new subscription instead of renewing the old subscription. Now it will be easier to update all plugin via FTP, then update your new license keys in GeoDIrectory >> Auto Updates / licensing.

    Let us know how you went,

    Thanks
