Default Category Icon Error

    I have two categories under one CPT. I added listings that are in both categories and selected one to be a default category. On the main page listing map, the non-default category icon is displayed instead of the default category icon. Am I missing something?

    I am assuming only one icon gets displayed which is the default category icon when a listing in added on multiple category.

    Hi,

    It seems to be working fine to me. Unfortunately i can not check it on ur server but i checked it on demo server.

    Please advise ?

    Hi Vikas,

    No, it’s not working for me and I don’t know why until now you can’t still access my site when everyone else can.

    I also reported search errors on the other thread. It’s either no results or the same ONE listing shows up if you search by location on my site. I tried searching for locations that is in my database and this error happens.

    Manilaboy,
    This is not a bug, if a place is in 2 categories, then two markers will be there overlapping each other at same location and if u unchecked on category the other will appear.
    Default category is for Listing detail map icon , edit post map icon , preview map icon, detail map icon , breadcrumb and if u include category in listing url then it will be include in post permalink.

    Please advise ?

    Thank you, Vikas. I thought the default category marker is also for the main page map.

    Is there a way to make the default category marker on top of the other category markers on the main page map if a place is listed on more than one category?

    Hi,

    Plz download attached zip, extract it and upload .php file in geodirectory/Geodirectory-functions/map-functions folder using ftp.
    Take backup of existing file first.

    Let me know ur comments.
