    Hi,

I´m building a site where users can create events + 2 more CPT:s (travel packages).
Now I would like for each user to also be able to also publish news/pressreleases and I was planning to simply create a new CPT for this (with GeoDirectory Custom Post Types) which I believe will work just fine.
However first I just wanted to ask if perhaps there is a way to use the default WP post CPT for this, can WP posts be handled through Geodirectory forms? …just doublechecking so i´m not missing something 😉

    Thanks!

    Hi Anders,

Thanks for your post. I’d like you to know that WP Post and GD CPT are not the same. WP post can be created without GD plugin. But there is also an option in GD CPT that allows you to disable physical address and this is probably what you’re looking for.

    Thank you Kor,

Yes, I will use a GD CPT with physical address disabled.
How can I display “published date” (both for listing and details) ?

    Thanks!

    Hi anders,

Thanks for your reply. You can try using “[gd_post_meta key=”post_date”]” on your details listings page https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/details/ and see if it’s what you’re looking for.

    Hi Kor,

I tried that but unfortunately it did not display anything.

I would like to display published date both on listings view and details view?

    Thanks!

Please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply and we will check out the issue. Which CPT?

    Hi anders,

Thanks for your reply. Could you please check now? I’ve made some adjustments to the shortcodes “double quote”.

    Thank you Kor!

    That works now
How do I display published date inside the listings view also?
For example I have a gd_listings -shortcode on the front-page

    Thanks!

    Hi Anders,

Thanks for your reply. Insert the same shortcode into the “Archive Item” https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive-item/ and see if it helps.

Thank you so much Kor, that worked great!

And I see that I can choose specific “Details Page” and “Archive item page” for each CPT I create which I’m sure will work fine.

    Thanks again, I appreciate it!
