…and can I move the map from home page and have a dedicated page just for the map view?
I created new page ‘Map’ but GD Map widget isn’t available on new page.

    1) How do I delete ‘places’ from map menu?

There is a link at the bottom for each CPT on your site. There aren’t settings to show or hide them.

can I move the map from home page and have a dedicated page just for the map view?

You can remove the map widget from the home page.
For a map on a new page you can use a shortcode. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listing

Thanks heaps for the link to shortcode.
My map looks kinda blank…. https://aussieprojects.com/map/
    Using the shortcode;
    [gd_listing_map width=100% height=600 scrollwheel=false category=”2,3,4″]
How do I add to the shortcode to make it look like widget did?
Need a view of Australia 🙂

    Hi Leigh,

Thanks for your reply. Could you try enabling the ‘autozoom’ parameter and see if it fixes the issue you had there? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listing

    Hi Leigh,

It’s like the below. Does it work for you?

    [gd_listing_map width=100% height=300 scrollwheel=false category="2,3,4" autozoom=true]

    Hi Leigh,

Could you please share WP admin access in private reply so that we could check on it? Also, share the URL of the place in question.

    Thanks

Thanks so much. Yes only project listings as you have it 🙂
I changed height to 800 because I understand how to adjust that bit… but how do I write it so that map starts as a view of Australia instead of one pinpoint map icon?
    [gd_listing_map width=100% height=800 autozoom=true post_type=gd_projects scrollwheel=false category=”20,22″]

    Hi Leigh,

Thanks for your reply. There isn’t a parameter that allows you to choose a location to display but instead you can try adjusting the zoom level using the “zoom” parameter as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listing . Could you give it a try?

    Thanks!

    Hi Leigh,

Yes, that’s correct. I’ve removed the “autozoom” and applied the “zoom” parameter for you. Is this what you’re looking for?

    [gd_listing_map width=100% height=800 post_type=gd_projects zoom=6 scrollwheel=false category="20,22"]
