Is there a documented process for deleting dummy data?

I was running the Setup Wizard and it got stuck at inserting listing 18 out of 30. I let it run for 30+ minutes and it never moved, so I abandoned the wizard. I’m pretty sure it happened because I didn’t have my Google Maps API key set up correctly and I’ve fixed that. I’d like to delete the partial data and then re-run the process to populate the dummy data.

When I look at the Places page, there are 19 published Places. Do I just delete those? Or is there other data that I need to delete?

Also, when I looked at the Settings documentation, it seemed to imply that there was a button you can use to delete the dummy data, but I can’t find it anywhere. Is it not implemented yet? Or do I not see it because the data install process didn’t complete successfully?

Thank you, again, for putting up with a total novice…

    Welcome 🙂
You are probably correct. Because the process somehow did not run all the way, you are not getting the delete button.
I suggest not to worry about it, and just edit the places you have to add an address to them and publish them.
Let us know how you went.

I think I need to delete the data. When I look at the search page (attached), many of the Places are fragments. And when I click on ones that appear to be complete (like the “Please Touch Museum”), I get a “Not Found” page. It seems like it’s more than just editing a few places to fix them.

    • Do I just delete the places data?
    • Do I have to delete other data
    • Or should I uninstall GD completely and reinstall to get back to a “fresh” start?

Those screenshots show that you have a few more problems. Your search page should not really look like that.
If you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, then we can check the issue and get you started if you like.
    Thanks
