description content not shortened

    Hi guys
    I am installing 4 directories at the same time,
    added dummy contents, finished most settings,
    3 front page sites show listings perfect and 1 drives
    me crazy. Content main block and sidebar for each is not shortened
    Uninstalled, cleared cache, and reloaded dummy and same issue.
    see screen shots:
    front page one site perfect
    Mobi Directory large text
    compared all settings and cannot locate any difference in setup
    please advise

    Have a look at
    GD > Settings > General tab > Pages sub-tab > GD Archive item.
    Look for this part, and adjust as required:

    [gd_post_content key='post_content' limit='????' max_height='????']

    Please check now.
    You did add the Description custom field to the “Listings page” output location, I removed that.
