I am trying to design the individual listing pages on a new site that uses GeoDirectory with Whoop! theme.

It is for a directory of medical professionals that provide a specific service. They are all over the country so we needed the geographic features of the GeoDirectory and I have those configured.

I also have the listing intake form designed as the customer wants it except for a small but that I already reported there.

My problem is trying to get the individual listing pages to look as good as the ones in the demo: https://wpgeo.directory/whoop/places/united-states/california/san-francisco/chinatown/

Right now, maybe because the client doesn’t want the individual practicioners to upload any photos (?) the sidebar is in the center of the page at the top and the tabs are under it. This just doesn’t look good.

There will also not be any need for reviews.

I will attach a screenshot of how the listings look now in preview.

In addition, I made a couple of test listings and I can see them in preview mode before I publish them but after I publish them it says page not found. Is this something to do with GeoDirectory or is this more likely something that is on the hosting end? The client is using namecheap.

    Thanks

You will want to hide the GD Post Review element at the top with CSS.

What is shown in the middle is the tabs. Is there a problem with the tabs? You can edit the GD Details page and show them as a list instead

    [gd_single_tabs show_as_list="1"]

Did you add GD Output Location to the GD Sidebar?

For the 404 errors, please try re-saving permalinks:

    1. Open the settings at: WordPress – Settings – Permalinks

    2. Choose a different setting for your GeoDirectory permalinks, then save.

    3. On reload, switch back to the setting you had before, and save again.

    4. Check the page to see if the issue persists.

Re-Save the Permalinks by adjusting, saving, then restoring and saving again.

GeoDirectory uses custom permalinks and when changes are made to plugins or settings, in some cases you may need to re-save the permalinks to apply the new patterns to the URLs for your listings.
