GDV2 issues still to be posted here?

I am starting a new site with GDv2 and the new plugins.

The detailpage does’t show up f.e. when I click on a link on the listingspage.

    2
The docs have an instruction about Category+Location. I cant find it.

This looks like a permalink issue.

Try changing those up. You can write back with WP Admin credentials in a private reply and we can take a look at the settings.

Each time you add an element it will be displayed

    [gd_single_tabs]
    [gd_single_next_prev]
    [gd_single_tabs show_as_list = " 1 "]

If you add gd_single_tabs twice, it will show twice.

For maps, you can only have one map on a page. Whichever one loads first will be the only one that loads. Remove one of them so the other will load.

Category+Location is part of the categories edit screen.

Visit CPT Categories, then choose to edit a category.

Scroll down until you see Category Top Description.

If you uncheck the option, you can set a description for the category for each location.

    3. GD only uses PNG and JPG files. PNGs are preferred because they support transparency.

    Thanks Alex,

That works. The short codes are not self explanatory for me. The link from page design is not working or work in progress?

For the map markers: I know that GD uses PNG and JPG. But I also see lots of icons that are font awesome. Maybe that could be added in a future release for the map markers aswell?

    Thanks again, Peter

    It should link to https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/

    It has been updated

All the shortcodes and their parameters are visible in the shortcode builder.
