    When I zoom in on a map and select Satellite for the map options on a listing and save, it resets it’s self to fully zoomed out and default map.

    How do I set it so it uses the zoom and map type I select on the details page?

    Ahh, I see it’s not an option to have it use it from selecting the map to satellite when adding a listing?

    I only wanted the website to use it when a user selects satellite from the back end.

    Will this be changed to work as it should in the future because having the option to change map style seems kind of pointless and confusing if it does not actually work.

    Hi Amy Fox,

    Thanks for your reply. I apologize for misunderstanding your question. The option shown in the attached image should allow your users to select a map type in the add listings page. Isn’t that working for you?

    Hi Amy,

    if you are using the default map in the tab, check here for more information about changing the behavior

    You can try this out easily by simply removing the default map tab and then adding a new GD Map widget to the sidebar on your details page.

    Use the advanced options in the widget. First select post map. Then option you are looking for is “Use post map zoom and type?” and you want to make sure that is checked/enabled.
