    Hi

    Please can you advise when the developer Documenation that details the hooks and filters and other relevant information to make GD compatible with any theme will be available.

    Without this projects are on hold and its impossible to assess how much effort is required and whether its feasible to use GD.

    I can’t speak for others but will not be using themeforest themes.

    It has been been promised for some time.

    No doubt this would also have a positive impact on GD sales.

    Please can you also consider releasing more detailed Documenation on the themes functions, widgets, addons and setup as a lot of people, myself included are making assumptions about how features work as there’s no clear docs.

    This would surely reduce your support load by a massive amount.

    Hi,

    the theme for documentations has been installed today. Guust has started writing users documentation, while Vikas Stiofan and I will write developers docs.

    Today we started releasing a set of function that will make GD layout adapt to Enfold html. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/enfold-compatibility-code-please-test/

    For anyone curious that is a good starting point to start understanding how template elements can be moved around and adapted to any theme.

    We are doing our best to also answer any question, so if you are looking for something in particular, please let us know.

    Any update on when these docs will be released?

    Also are there any plans to make GD Compatible with Genesis ..is this something John is doing? I see it’s been removed from feature requests so does that mean it’s never going to happen?

    Docs are being written. The site is stii undrr construction and unpolished, but you can have a look.

    If you do a search for do_action here in the forum instead, you can already find lots of examples and basically a hint on how just about anything can be done.

    Genesis compatibility is done

    Great news Paolo! – I am actually moving to Genesis and giving up on Avada as there are still too many compatibility issues.

    Hoping that Genesis will work well with GD so I can actually release my new site.

    great choice of using weDocs as documentation theme. when will the developer documentation be uploaded? maybe even as work in progress?

    I know that technically its still Monday but given that it was ready on the 19th I thought that we may have seen it by now.

    for me monday really just started 3 hours or so ago…

    I normally 1st go through all Forum and contact forms to see if there is anything really urgent.

    Than I will take care of updating/releasing new things.

    obviously on different time schedules – however if it was ready on the 19th why does it take till the 21st to release? its a fair question to ask.

    for me Monday started 18hrs ago and ends in in 6hrs – uk time – what time line are we working on here just so we all know where we are when things are said.

    It was given to me saturday afternoon, while I had many other things to do.

    I have to install and test it, create a demo and various other things before makeing it available and we do take some time off too.

    We are a global company with staff all over the world, the task depends on who it is assigned to.

    We try to give a resonalble esitmate to let our customers know what is going on, we do our best…
