    I’ve installed Geo Directory as a plug in to a social mag wordpress site. I uploaded 3 test directory listings and found:

    1) the map shows the icon image really large so covers the map and listing location

    2) The listing header comes up with a black line – only when you hover over the header the name appears.

    I’ve checked through the set up and can’t find how to fix this.

    Attached two screen images.

    Hope you can help. This is a community not for profit site.

    Hello,

    welcome to the Geodirectory support forum! We are glad you are giving it a try and will do what we can here to help you get started.

    Recommended image size is no larger than 50*50. Find icon info here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/where-can-i-find-map-markers/

    2) The listing header comes up with a black line – only when you hover over the header the name appears.

    That looks like some theme/other CSS. Sometimes theme styling will carry over to GD. If you or your developer know CSS, then you can see some instructions here about how to customize GD: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    You can make a private reply to include the site URL for the GD Home page so we can take a look.

    1) Use icom sized markers, about 50×50 pixels.

    2) Try adding this CSS:

    footer.geodir-entry-meta {background: white!important}

    Thanks
