    Hi,

    I’d suggest to use Supreme instead of Starter?

    Or to make your own child theme taking from Supreme?

    All these questions are beyond support. They are considered customization.

    Hi again,

    I did what you suggested, changed the theme from Directory Starter to Supreme Directory.
    But now, Both Google Chrome and Safari do not recognize my SSL Certificate => my geolocation is not working, so I changed back to Directory Starter, because here everything works fine (except its loading speed).

    While in Directory Starter theme, Google shows “Secure” next to my web adress and a padlock, when I change to Supreme theme, google shows a “i” before it, it does show the “htts”//…” and no padlock.

    My SSL Certificate provider support, and also my web hosting provider told me to talk to you, the provider of the theme.

    Could you help?

    Hi Vlad,

    Not sure what’s going on but changing themes won’t affect SSL. Anyway, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

    Hi,

    I just activated Supreme and I don’t see any error about your SSL certificate in both Chrome and Firefox.

    Please let us know how to replicate the error.

    screenshot taken right now, 20:22 Romanian Time. Please take a look at the adress bar..in Directory Starter it says “Secure”.

    plus it has a huge loading time back here…I don’t understand why..I installed the Booster add-on, flushed the cache on both GD Booster & GoDaddy and still it has very big loading time.

    and as you can see, in Directory Starter theme I have the “Change Location” in my menu, and my geolocation functions word, and in Supreme Directory theme, there’s no change location button in the menu, no geolocation available…why?
    I don’t know what happened

    Hi again huys,

    I can imagine you have a lot of requests, but still I am having trouble here understanding some issues, so I hope you can find some time to check & answer. Thanks!

    – still when changing the theme from Starter to Supreme, the padlock dissapears in the adress bar, and Google Chrome shows the ‘i’ badge before the adress.
    – At the same time, in Supreme, the “change location” menu dissapears from the menu &
    – while it should run geolocation and show up the image of the city where the user is located, instead it shows the featured image of the home page.

    Hope you will find some time to check this up and share some advice.

    Sorry i was sure i replied to this but something must have went wrong.

    #1 I see it as secure for me but if u have problems try:
    Install and run plugin “Better search replace” and search for “http://my-site.com” and repalce with “https://my-site.com” (use your domain and not my-site.com)

    #2 I see u fixed this
