disable Category for one CPT

is it possible to completely disable/strip Category taxonomy from one kind of CPT only?

Though I have not added any categories, the posts automatically goes under Uncategorized

Wordpress cannot work without putting a post (listing) in at least one category.

is there at least one way, I hide that category as no index? Can you help me on this.

IN my case gd is taking over seo from yoast
