Disable event category in calendar?

    Hello! Is it possible to not show an spesific event category in the event-calendar?

    In addition to my “places” directory with shops and services i want to use the Event CPT to list events and activities, as well as specials sights/attractions. However, I don`t want sights/attractions category
    to mark an event in the calendar. Is this possible, and do you see any problems or opportunities with this approach? Alternatively or in addition, can this function be added in the event schedule?
