disable google calls

    I came across the same issue discussed early in this topic https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/disable-all-calls-to-google/

    I need implement the directory solution for my client in China, I found this plugin is a perfect solution for the business but Google call will be bottleneck for this website to load.

    I would like to disable google map
    1. add listing
    2. view listing
    3. search listing
    Could you pls advise if this is possible.

    Hi,

    with the custom post type add-on you can create a locationless Custom Post Type.

    If you only use locationless custom post types, the map won’t appear anywhere.

    We are not able yet to disable google maps API. We ahve been discussing the opportunty to make GD Map agnostic and work with any Maps provider such as Bing or OpenStreetMaps, but we never got the time to actually do any of that.

    Hi Paolo,

    I have bought a few addon, including the custom post type.
    You mentioned to create locationless custom post type, when I create the post type, there is no option as ‘locationless’, Do i need check any option to indicate this post type is locationless?

    I justed a custom post type and I did not see any different from default ‘place’ post type. kindly advise pls. thank you

    hi,

    you can do that in GeoDirectory >> General >> Select CPT to disable physical location
