Disabling map resizing

    Hi,

    I am having some issues and strange behaviours resulting from the map resizing capability (particularly on the archive or search pages). The worse is with the ad inserter plugin, which renders the ads before the map.

    Basically I wanted to know if there is a way to disable the map resizing and fixing the width? CSS?

    For example here:

    https://www.parentland.pt/actividades/category/desporto/lisbon/

    If I resize the map, the ad will be partially hidden or moving to unwanted places.
    On mobile it goes even worse, with the map covering the whole screen. I disabled the ad feature on the mobile version to avoid this issue.

    Another thing I could do is to try another ad inserter plugin.

    I can see that the ‘Show listings’ button that should be in the header is missing on the archive page when the map is viewed, but I don’t see the other issues you mentioned.

    Try disabling that ad inserter to see if it brings it back.

    I just disabled the plugin. Where was the show listings missing? On mobile?

    Thanks for your reply. Try applying the custom CSS code below and see if you’re able to switch between listings and the map.

    How about the ads, is there a way to disable the map resizing (fixing width to e.g. 50%) or should I try another ad inserter plugin?

    What ads? Could you share some screenshots? As for the map resizing, are you referring to the attached image?

    Hi,

    The ads should be showing up between search results (they are currently disabled on mobile). See attached screenshot.
    Yes, I wanted to try disabling the map resize to avoid conflicting with ad rendering.
    But on mobile version the ad plugin always creates a problem.
    Do you have any recommended ad inserter plugin which works with GD?

    Thanks for your reply. We can only help with troubleshooting. However, your Website is not accessible to me now. Could you check? Sorry, we do not have a recommendation for the ad plugin.
