Is there any way to prevent users from entering html code in the description field? I plan to have one Free package and want to display a description but don’t want users to enter their website URL there since there will be a paid package for that.

    Hi Viki,

There is no option for this but it can be done in several ways via filters.
The problem is i guess you want to do it for some price packages and not others? If so the price package ID’s would have to be hard codded into the code to allow such a thing, or if you want to compleatly disallow them from all packages it’s slightly easier. Let me know what you require?

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Sorry for the delay; I just saw this reply (yes, forgot to tick “notify”).

For now I think disallowing from all package descriptions would be fine. Ideally it would just disallow the and tags so that formatting tags could still be used.

Thanks Stiofan. I just got around to testing this and it displays those tags as text rather than rendering them. I was kind of hoping for something that would prevent their entry entirely but I can see that might get very complicated. This should work for my purposes. I appreciate the help.
