disappeared geodirectory widgets

    Hi, in my site geodirectory is set as the home page. Ok until this morning, when updated enfold with ftp. now disappeared geodirectory widgets and news in homepage no longer work. some help?

    Hello, your home page is set with the page Sfoglia Città as homepage, with no widget in the sidebar . It seems some of the plugins you’re using is disabled because the shortcode for the layout are not displaying anything.
    It could be that switching the theme reset the widgets.

    Ciao Simone, in fact, before update widgets there were. update via ftp wiped everything. how is it possible? (same thing on another site with enfold + geodir)

    The only reason I can think of is that updating Enfold changed widget areas IDs somehow…

    Ok Paolo, then the same problem have everyone using Enfold … I have problem in two sites.

    This responds Kriesi: With WordPress 4.2, widget areas required unique ID’s and Enfold new update has a feature which assigns unique ID’s to widget area but unfortunately that may reset your widget areas. Please create them from the scratch

    Hi,

    actually that was an old bug of Enfold that we told them about almost 1 year ago.

    I’m glad to see they finally fixed it. In this case this should be an isolated problem due to Enfold update.
