Display World Map by Default

    Hello

    I have a client who wants the world map to be displayed by default when the directory page is visited. That is the map will be already zoomed to show the world map. This is only possible now if we zoom out to the max.
    Currently, it displays based on the actual location already added. Please how can we do this? This is very important to my client.

    The map should be set to auto-zoom, and if there are listings all over the world, the map will show the whole world. If there are only a few listings in one country, only those will show.

    You can turn off auto-zoom in the map widget, and set to a zoom of about 3 or 4, but that setting then will apply to all location pages.

    Thank you very much.
    I have tried this out and it seems to work okay. I am not sure of the effect on other location pages but if that happens and it is not what we wanted on other pages, we may have to come back.

    Hi Guust,

    Okay. I get it. It affects the map displayed on the sidebar of the detail page.
    Is there a way to limit this only to the gd homepage please?

    The settings for the location maps are not the same as the settings for the sidebar map of the detail page.
    The settings for the sidebar map of the detail page are at Appearance > Widgets > GD Detail Right section.
