    Hi there,

I’m using the Divi Builder for designing the page.
I know I have to create all the pages to apply my design on it.
Currently I’m working on the detail page design.
When I now want to see the real result, I always have to activate my current own-detailspage as GD detailpage to see live listings in there. When I then want to continue designing I have to change back to the original back. Reason why I do this is because when the page is activated as GD Detailpage I only can see codes, only the ratingstars are working for example.

Now my question. Is it somehow possible to add a listing ID to a detail page? So I could save the step of switching back and forth.

    Thanks for your help,
    Fabian

Or to say it simple, is it possible to see live data when I’m editing the details page?

    Hi Fabian Schilder,

Thanks for your post. Could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that I could check on it?

    Thanks!

Have you tried using the backend Divi builder?

As soon as you edit your template you can see live changes applied when you view a listing.

Make sure to disable cache while building.

Hi Alex, thanks for you answer. Yup I see the changes live in DIVI but not with live data. Only with placeholders like “Placeholder for: gd_post_title”.

Currently I’m editing the template page and have in parallel a listing opened. Everytime I do a change on the template page, I refresh the listing so I can see the changes with live data.

If there is no solution for designing the template with live data then it’s okay for me… I can also work the way i currently do…

By the way, after now about two weeks of trial & error, I have to say I really love this plugin 🙂

    Thanks for your support,
    Fabian

Yes, Divi might have a preview setting like BB and Elementor but you would need to ask them about it.

    Glad you like it!
