I am making some changes to goMap.js but do not know how to get the system to use the not minified version. When I patch goMap.min.js I get what I want but would like to work with goMap.js and later minify it.

    Hi Johan,

That is a file that should not really be edited but if you explain what you are trying to do i will suggest a way to do it.

#2 here will also help you with reading minified scripts and CSS http://elijahmanor.com/7-chrome-tips-developers-designers-may-not-know/

    Thanks,

I am using Open Street Map because small towns in Mexico are not very accurate on Google maps. I managed to get the change made by taking a copy of file into my child theme and enquing the script in my functions.php. Now my problem is how to minify it. If you have a link for that it would be very helpful.

You can use many online compressors such as http://jscompress.com/
