Does ANYONE know how recurring payments work

Can someone please document the recurring payment options?

What does

“Renew [daily] subscription in every [90] Day(s) for [x] time(s)
(Allowed Range: Days range 1-90 || Weeks range 1-52 || Months range 1-24 || Years range 1-5) ”

actually mean?

Under what circumstances would the two options be different?
Why would you “renew daily subscription in every 90 days”?
What does it actually mean??

If I leave the “times” value blank, does it renew indefinitely ?
