Our directories have a LOT of home based businesses who, for privacy reasons, don’t share their home addresses and do business through their websites. Avon is a good example, Scentsy is another. These listings without zip codes default back to the center of the default location. Over time these are building up as one large black mass in the center of my maps.

Is there a way to set the map to ONLY show businesses on the map if they have an address and zip assigned?

    Hello!

There are a couple of ways to work with what you outlined there. We can provide you with the ideas, and you can let us know if one of them will work for you.

First of all, if you have the Custom Post Types Addon, you can create a new type of Post that has no address or location. That’s first.

You could also make a category that then has a transparent icon that wouldn’t show on the map.

You could use the pricing and payments manager to style one package of listings differently to display the information on the page in a different way.

Let us know if any of those will work for you
