Don't want default city to show when creating a listing

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hello, when I set up the system is asked for the region and city. Because we are a Michigan only directory i put in Detroit.

    This shows on the form when you create a listing as shown in the attached file. How can I just have that field blank?

    It will not allow me to delete the default city.

    A default city is required because the map has to start somewhere.

    Typing the address field for autocomplete will immediately change that city and the map, too.
