Dropdown Categories using CPT Categories Widget

    I have around 30 categories with several subcategories each. Using the CPT Categories widget, can I create a dropdown list for each category showing the subcategories? Also, how can I add text wrapping to the category name?

    Hi,

    you can change the category selection tool via GeoDirectory >> Place Settings, double click on category and change selection method to select or checkbox.

    I’m not sure what you mean by : add text wrapping to the category name.

    I don’t want to change the category selection tool, I want to change the widget “GD > CPT Categories” to have the nested subcategories expand on clicking the category.

    For my longer category names, the column clips the text. How can I prevent this?

    Hi,

    there is no option to do that, to achieve it you will need to customize the widget, that’s beyond support.

    You will need to reduce the font size or change the css that clips the text, however that will create layout problems. If you provide a link where I can see the problem and I can inspect it, I can maybe provide a solution.
