    Hi,

I can’t edit any of my posts now. When I click on the listing at the backend to edit them, I get a blank page.

I can’t view the listings on the frontend of the website too. I get a 400 bad request. Could you help me do a check please?

    Thank you.

Do you have a staging site?

If you can make one, please do so we can do some additional debugging.

    We will also need FTP.

    Have you tried switching themes?

I’m not very good at these things. It has been good all along until suddenly it happened after I added a custom field in one of my CPT. Changing theme might mean I have to do the customisations etc all over again, which I don’t want to when I don’t even know if that is the source of the errors.

Everything was going fine even when I added custom fields to the CPTs, so I don’t think the problem lies with the theme.

This is what I get when I click on a Dining listing from the website.

    504 Gateway Timeout

The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

By switching theme, I meant just turn on a different them for a moment to check if you can edit pages.

Our developers will be back in the office on Monday and they can take a look then.

In the meantime right now you could first try removing the custom field and saving custom fields again.
Then you can try disabling non-GD plugins one at a time and testing if you can edit listings.
You can also try switching to another theme just to see if you can edit listings.

    Hi,

I realised only the CPT for Dining is affected. I’ve tried removing the latest custom fields that were added before this thing happened and it went back to error 400. I’d like to know what exactly sparked the error so I can avoid doing something that will cause this situation to repeat itself.

Would be really appreciative if someone could help me do a diagnosis. Thank you!

    Hello,

You site is running with old version of GeoDirectory & its plugins.

Please update plugins and let us know how it goes.
