Edit this Post not working

    So I have run into an issue where users cannot edit using the Edit this Post button. I had a paid user tell me he couldn’t access his business after he claimed it.

    So I started digging in. I logged in on my admin account and ran into the same problem. I can access the business in the backend and edit, but all that happens when I try to edit on the front end is the page refreshes.

    Then I thought it might be the user role. I have an account I use to for testing. It was used to create a listing, but now that the listing is live, no edit access on the frontend. So I switched this users role from subscriber to author on the backend and relogged in. No change.

    HELP!!!

    Hello,

    I tried and was able to edit a listing and save the changes.

    Could you share credentials for a user where we could see the issue, or additional details so we can recreate the problem?

    You were able to make edits from the front end? Because even with my primary Super Admin account, I try to edit and I can only make edits in the backend.

    I was able to edit from the backend.

    It looks like the “Edit” button is hidden on the Detail pages, but the account credentials also do not seem to be a full Administrator as I cannot see the role of the logged in user in the backend profile edit form.

    I see in the Design – Detail settings that the user links including the Edit button have not been hidden.

    We can see the edit this post label the problem is we can’t get it to work properly. All that happens when you click it is the page refreshes.

    Please provide WP Admin for a full admin of the site.

    Also provide a URL where you can see the edit this post link where the user is not the author.

    The account I provided has super admin rights.

    Hey, I happen to be using Geodirectory for another one of my subdomains. This one I am using with the Whoop theme. It appears to be working as it should be.
