    Hi again,

we did all we could to help you make it work. We can’t debug it any further, have you tried asking for its developer for support?

Have you tried any other plugins that could be working flawlessly without needing us to debug them?

    Thanks

    Hi @paolo,
Did you look into why the geodirectory buddypress integration was breaking it?

Unfortunately it would seem that no support is being provided by the plugging author or any of the people who have taken it over.

I tried to get paid support but was told that the plugin is functioning as it is supposed to and follows WordPress standards, whatever that means, and that it would make more sense to contact you guys been as though it’s your plugin breaking it and you know your own code.

I have looked around but can’t find any alternatives without a time limit, and those with the time limit don’t work either way! (with or without the gd buddypress addon).

    Do you of any?
    Thanks,
    UF

I am using the plugin WP AJAX EDIT COMMENTS. This allows me the admin, and users to edit and delete their comments and thus geodirectory reviews.

If the geodirectory Buddypress AddOn is activated only the admin can actually edit and save the comment/review. Now the links do appear for the other users, however when they click edit they can type and change the text (in pop up box), but once they click save it doesnt actually change the review/comment.

The box used to do nothing, until something, i think the php warnings or maybe the jquery problem you solved above, and now it says saved successfully and closes (but no change in review..).
    thanks,
    UF

Please note, I was recommended to try this plugin here.

I understand if you dont actually try and resolve the issues until I can once again say i have tried all the other alternatives..
    Thanks, UF

    Hi @stiofan,
I have tried the above plugin and its not working at all, so wp ajax edit comments is my only hope,
I will send my credentials etc over,
Please let me know whether you are going to look into it or not, thanks for the continued support,
    UF

This is a tough one to track down, can you provide ftp details and i should be able to track it down alot faster.

    Thanks,

Just to let you know it stopped working again,
and i get a -1 error message (something to do with them being unapproved?)
This is also an issue related to how plugins interact with Akismet, (I think.. as sometimes comments appear in spam!
I understand that you dont have the time to deal with this so its just an update not a support req..!
    Thanks,
    UF
