Email notifications ID / Admin user id

    Hi, currently my wp account admin/’owner” email id is set up in Settings>General, which is the same ID as admin user with the User ID #1 (using Buddypress)

    All the GD notifications – eg new listing pending review, edited listing cc, new claim etc come to this ‘owner’ id, and i want these to be sent to another ID (maybe even an alias, which can be monitored by someone else)

    Can I just change the Settings> General id to the alias, while keeping the admin User id the same as now, ie the email iD in the General Settings will be only used for notifications and will not belong to any admin user?

    Do please let me know, as this is an admin/owner id i surely dont want to break something if i change this.

    GeoDirectory has settings to change the ‘from’ email address for emails GD sends.

    You can find that at

    GeoDirectory – Settings – Email – Email Sender Options – Email address
