I have been working on importing “starter” review numbers into GD.

I seem to have been successful (the majority of the 2200+ listings are now showing stars and at least one review).

But, when trying to export all of the listings with the reviews I get this message:

ERROR: Could not create csv file. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

I can successfully export the listings and categories.

    Thank you.

    Hi Duane,

Please check your server file permissions on wp-content/uploads/

Thank you for the reply, Kor.

It’s 0755 like all of the other sub-directories.

But, why out of the blue would those permissions change after I had successfully been uploading files for the last many months (and many times today, as well)?

    Thank you,

    Duane

    Hi Duane,

Thanks for your reply. Could you share your exported CSV file here along with your Website WP and FTP access here in private reply so that I could forward this to a dev?

    Hi, Alex.

As I indicated above, I can export all other types of files.

And, the problem of not being able to export went away (but, only 23 records are exported, not the 2200+).

I included logins for both WP and FTP above.

(There’s more details above what I was trying to achieve and how/why I figure I am the cause of the “hiccup” while trying to import a Google Places overall rating and an “initial” comment.)

    Thank you, Alex,

    Duane

Is everything working now as expected, then?

    Seems to be all good!

As I surmised initially, it was most likely due to my attempts to display (as closely as possible) the cumulative rating and number of reviews scraped from Google Maps.

Once I wiped out everything and started fresh (and eliminated the decimal point and digit to the right thereof) of the “comment” I was uploading the problems went away.

    Thank you, Alex and Kor.

    Duane
