ERROR in TAGS FIELD

    Hi,
    please habe a look into this listing:

    In tags field are numbers…
    But I have created this field introducing words…
    If you clic in edit web page will redirect you in the EDIT FORM, and number will automatically change in words
    If I resave this listing I think error will be deleted and in listing I will can see words.
    So I contact you not for to have this solutions (resave and error will be deleted), but I contact you in order alert you from this error and to correct it in the origen of error.
    I said that becouse I have 20.000 listing and I think I have a lot of listing with this error, so it is very hard resave each listing for delete this error…
    If I upload other 10.000 or 50.000 listings and I will have this error it will be a big problem for me search for listing with ERROR and resave them.
    In conclusion I contact you for 2 things:
    1. To alert you of this ERROR and know if you can resolve it in your code
    2. Know if there is another alternative to the RESAVE METHODE for to delete this error. For example: can I to modify that in database? is it a good idea? Or is better dont touch data base for change TAGS FIELD?

    That error is usually because you are using “quick edit” to add tags. Add them from the frontend, or full edit window in backend or CSV upload.

    Hi Guust. Yes, you are right, I have used quick edit but not for change TAGS. I used it for change title of listing. So I sopuse that it is the same… Everytimes I change something using quick edit I will have error in TAGS… It is so?
    Just one thing more. Make bulk changes using frontend or full edit windows in backend is very hard.
    CSV is the best solution. So my question is: How can I do changes using CSV? What is the process? Maybe is the following:
    1. Download Listing in CSV.
    2. Change column I want using OPEN OFFICE (without make change in ID LISTING COLUMNS)
    3. Upload CSV.
    If I do that, do I do not duplicate listing? Do I only rewrite change in existents listings?

    That is all correct. When re-uploading, select “Update listing if post with post_id already exists.”
    If you do not change post IDs, then you will just over-write [update] the existing listings.
