errors in advanced serch addon

    Hi, I am studying how run “advanced search addon” and I am using the following page:
    http://wpgeo.directory/ in order to test it.
    I have introduced 2 events.
    If I go to http://wpgeo.directory/events/ I can see them.

    The event “19 DICIEMBRE BOIKOT…” is in “Sabadell” City
    http://wpgeo.directory/events/spain/catalunya/sabadell/festival/19-diciembre-boikot-sabadell-bcn-festival-la-flama-aspencat-itaca-band-boikot-ebri-knight-3/

    And the event “GATILLAZO + NON SERVIUM…” is in “Salt” City

    First error: If I introduce in the NEAR field the city “Salt” and I change the radius search to maxim (320 km), listing page should show the 2 previous events, because “sabadell” is only 100 km far from “Salt”. But only will be showed “GATILLAZO + NON SERVIUM…” is in “Salt” City

    Second error: If I click in “CUSTOMIZE MY SEARCH” and I select for example the today date, in order to only show events from today to upcoming, listing page should show the 2 previous events, but there is no showed any events.

    Third error: I have had a simulation in my web. I have like default option the following: “show upcoming events”.
    So, if I go to http://www.infocity.website/events upcoming events will be showed.
    If I do a serch like that:
    Near: Girona
    From today
    To: november 30 of 2015
    user will be redirected to this page:
    http://www.infocity.website/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_event&s=+&snear=girona&event_start=&event_end=2015-11-30&sgeo_lat=41.9794005&sgeo_lon=2.821426400000064
    where will be showed events of 28, 29 and 30 of november. So it`s ok

    But If I change default option and I select “Show today events”, and I do the same search:
    Near: Girona
    From today
    To: november 30 of 2015
    page will showed only the today event. I think it is no correct, because even if I have as a default option “show today events” I have done a serch from today to november 30 so page should show not only today events but events of 28, 29 and 30 of novembre.

    Error number 4: If I introduce “Girona” in the Near field, and select like radius 320 km, the page will show any events. But Girona is only far 2 km from Salt city and 100 km from Sabadell City.

    Error Number 5: I try introduce “Barcelona” in the Near field, but there is no this city… I dont understand why…

    Hi,

    the radius distance only affects the “near me” searches, not whatever you input in the near field.

    That is defined in General Search and for that website the default radius is 40KM.

    Ok, Now I understand how run this funcionality.
    So Error number 1 is not an error.
    But Error 2, 3 and 5 are not relationated with the RADIO BUTTON. So, I continue thinking they are errors.
    About Error 4, in my question I say that I have introduced a RADIO of 320, so I understand it no affects the search. But Girona City is only 2 km far of Salt City. So if I introduce “GIRONA” in the Near field, the page should show this following event “GATILLAZO + NON SERVIUM…” because it is in “Salt” City and salt city is only 2 km far of Girona city (2 km < 40 km). But nothing events will be showed… Why?

    2) is not an error because it was using the filter as “range in single” (which only return event with exact date), now I changed it to “range in form” and you can select 2 dates. If you select 1st december to 31st it will show your events too. http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_event&s=+&snear=&event_start=2015-12-01&event_end=2015-12-31&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

    3) it is not an error, if you filter by today’s event it will only show today’s events.

    4) If you select Girona (city) it will only show events that are IN Girona, no matter the radius. It can’t show events from a nearby city, if you are asking to show only events IN Girona. You must search in the Everywhere location NEAR Girona (without selecting Girona city) to also show events NEAR Girona: http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_event&s=+&snear=girona&set_location_type=3&set_location_val=150&event_start=&event_end=&sgeo_lat=41.9794005&sgeo_lon=2.821426400000064
