    Hi there,

for Europe there is a different Address Format.

    It’s like this:
    Buschingstrasse 1
    81677 München

    [Street] [Street No]
    [Zip] [City]

How can I reach that with GD Post Address as Shortcode?

If that helps, Openstreet Map is used. WP and GEO and everything is updated to current version.

    Thanks in advance,
    Fabian

    Hi Guust,

already did. The problem is, that the street gets written in wrong format:

1 Buschingstrasse (This is the output format)
Buschingstrasse 1 (This is what I want)

Could you give me an example of the Shortcode how you would do that?

    Regards,
    Fabian

Just change the street address field content from 1 Buschingstrasse to
    Buschingstrasse 1.
    Thanks

Can you give me an example on how I should do that?
I would prefer Shortcode if possible.

    Thanks,
    Fabian

    1. Edit the listing
    2. Find the address field
    3. Change the text to Buschingstrasse 1
    4. Save

    Hi Alex,

this is hardly applicable by a user driven directory. I would have to correct every address for every listing entered by anyone. Isn’t there a possiblity to get this done automatically from the start when a user adds a listing?

    Regards,
    Fabian

If the customer is happy with the address, then there is no reason to change.
You do not have to accept the address as suggested by the MAP API, but only Google or OpenStreetMaps can change the street address format, or you can manually. It is not possible for GeoDirectory to change the data from Google or OpenStreetMaps.
    Thanks

    Hi again,

when a user types in the Address in the Address field and then clicks the “Search” button for Openstreetmap, it changes to the wrong street format. Can this somehow changed to right format? Workaround could be then to deactive the “Search” field for open street map and the address suggestions… could this be realized somehow?

    Regards,
    Fabian

    Hi Guust,

understood. Would there then be a possibility to deactivate the search button for the address after the field + deactive the address suggestions? I’ve marked the parts I want to get rid off…

    Regards,
    Fabian

GD > Settings > Locations tab > Disable address autocomplete? > YES

    Thanks
