Event Category Search won't show

    I have added category fields onto my GD Search, it will not show up after I took it off and tried to re-add it. I have done everything correctly to my knowledge and have managed to make it work once already on the events section of the search and the places section. How can I get this feature to work again?

    Hello,

    adding the category field as a select in the search bar isn’t global. You need to set it up for each Custom Post Type. Head to the events search tab and set it up there as well, just like you did for places.

    Have you added some events already?

    You managed to add events without adding a category to them.

    The category drop-down is ‘smart’ and only shows categories that are applied to the listings.

    Try adding categories and it should show up
