    Hi guys,

I’m trying to create quick links to allow users to click a link from the menu and see a full page of event listings for today, tomorrow, this weekend and next week.

I’m wondering if there is anything in the search parameters I can directly place in the URL that will take the user to a set of search results, but still within their filtered location.

For example, if I’m in Hull, I’d like to see what’s on tomorrow. I’ve managed to instantly show event listings for tomorrow with this URL:
    https://rootstage.whatsonhub.com/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_event&event_dates=tomorrow&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=&city=hull

However, I’d like to put it in the menu, and change the location to match the users current filtered location. Is there something like ‘location=1″ or something that would allow me to do that?

Also, what would be the keywords needed to do ‘this weekend’ and ‘next week’?

If it’s not possible with search, is it possible any other way?

    Thanks for your help,
    Dave

Do the same search but with the Location selected in the Near field. That should give you the correct URL.

    Thanks

Hi Guust, thanks for you reply.

What I’m trying to do is put the link into the menu, so that any user, no matter what location they have selected at the top, can see events on today, tomorrow, this weekend or next week and get results for that location they’ve selected.

If I put the location in the near field as you’ve suggested, that would just create a link to show just one city to everyone. Or have i misunderstood what you wrote?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    It was me that misunderstood.
There is no option for that, other than just using the /events/ endpoint. Then they can filter for dates etc on that page.

    Thanks
