    Hi,

I have set up my directory so anyone can submit events but only those who can prove ownership (via official email address rather than personal email) can claim listings.

When anyone submits an event they are listed as event owner on the backend of the listing. Does this mean they have access to edit the event or is this simply referring to the fact they submitted the event?

I don’t want them to own the listing (unless they have proved ownership of the event, in which case it will be marked as claimed and is theirs to manage) but I do want them to receive an email notification when the event has been published as the person who submitted the event, purely out of courtesy and interaction.

Of course, I can just remove them as event owner on the listing once it has been published but I just wanted clarification as to the level of ownership.

    Thanks,

    Tristan.
