Event Page and Search Bar

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I attempted to use the shortcode for the search bar and change setting to only display events.

    I cannot find the event page. I am assuming it in some kind of archive or template.

    Can I modify the search bar/ archive or whatever to only display events on https://whowriteswhat.com/events ?

    I do not want the other items in the drop down menu and I do not want to affect other search bars elsewhere on the site.

    You can make a new Archive page that is only for the events CPT, set that in the Events CPT General settings tab.

    To create that search bar, you can use the shortcode builder advanced options.
