Events 'corrupt' on publish

    During add event listing, process is fine and review shows mapping and pictures.
    Once published, only access is through my listings. Home ‘events’ sometimes has event but returns 404 on selection.
    New events listing Mapping has ‘no location record’, 404 error on selection of event.
    On dashboard, all new events show ‘no-category’ although only the top level category exists in events and no options are available in add-listing.
    Tried lots of permutations but can’t resolve.
    Can you help?

    WordPress 4.8.3 running GeoDirectory Framework theme.
    Geo 1.6.24
