Events not displaying in date order

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    When I run a search from the homepage of my site the events do not display in date order, even when upcoming is selected (it is default anyway)

    The same applies when I select ‘view all’ on the front page even though the first six events are displaying in date order.
