Events Widget Order of Events

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    On our current site produced using GeoTheme the events listing widget on the home page displays up and coming events in date order which is the perfect and logical way to do it. GeoDirectory events widget seems to have no way of displaying events like this which is a real shame.

    I appreciate that the two are totally different products but is there a possibility of the GeoDirectory widget being modified so it works in the same way.
