    Hello,

    excerpt in Homepage does not work. In categories everything is ok, but on GD-homepage not. I Have 2 word limit.
    How can i fix it?

    Hello!
    Please try resaving the widget again.

    The character count is respected.

    It is a character count, though, not a word count. It will show complete words up to the max character count you choose, and will not display words that go over the count, or cut words into pieces.
