    Hello:
I have uploaded the places database three times this week and changed the expire dates to the year 2030 and I still get an email notice that 300 places posted 5 days ago will expire tomorrow unless I change the date.

Is there some hidden setting to recognize only the date I set to expire or am I faced with this every week?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I’d suggest to read this post completely where Kiran explains this in depth to another member:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/alive-days-changes-on-import/

Hope that helps, let us know if you need more details.

    Thanks

    Paolo:
    Thanks for the link suggestion.

My use is simpler, I set an expiration date of December 31, 2030 for all places, that’s 5,111 days in the future. None should expire before that, unless I manually change the expiration date or manually trash the “place”. I have checked and my export database has the alive_days field which is apparently correctly showing the end date.

Do I need to change my package Id, or create a new one to solve this? Could that be the problem?
    Thanks

    Hello,

If you have set expire date manually then not necessary to change package id for the listings.

If you are facing any problem with alive_days or expire date or in expire notifications, let us provide FTP & Database details so we can look into.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Kiran:

It seems this situation has resolved itself and is not an issue at this time. Thanks for your time and effort though.
