The Facebook share mechanism is missing in the place sidebar.

See this crete real estate related place as an example:
    https://cretemix.com/places/greece/crete/rethymno/propertyservice/kreta-eiendom-s-a

The share mechanism is found to operate when no https ie. this as an example:
    http://cretemix.com/places/greece/crete/rethymno/propertyservice/kreta-eiendom-s-a

How to let this share mechanism operate when https?

Please note the unsecured http version is no option for this crete site.

It’s the complete share mechanism missing due to various http source code.

Is there a general setting some place to let it all be https operated ie. no resulting http source code in use or is the code to be fixed manually?

sigh….I still don’t get it, sorry. What mechanisms are you talking about? Because I can see all the GD Facebook and social things working fine with https.

Also, do you have set your URL in the wordpress settings with https or http?

It’s the share mechanism presented in your screen shot above.

Internet Explorer as an example comes up with the standard message telling there is some unsecured source code within the place detail page, and you then have to to accept it to see all the contents including this share mechanism.

In the backend general settings, the URLs are set to https ie. https://cretemix.com

These place detail pages however ends up in various http source code.

Ok..I can’t test with IE (I’m on mac), I tested it in Chrome, FF and Safari and it works well with both http and https.

I will notify Stiofan about this issue.
