Whenever someone opens the favorites page once it loads for a couple of seconds and then refreshes and sends the people to a location based directory with no results:

    http://www.eatlocalnky.com/author/admin/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place&list=favourite

It was doing this with the out of the box page. Any idea why? With this page all I changed as the title within the php file – but like I said it was happening out of the box. Once it redirects you once it won’t happen again that session either. Which I find even more weird. I can duplicate in incognito mode all day long.

    Ideas?

    Hi,

You have multilocation enabled, but you don’t have the location switcher in place and that doesn’t allow to set sessions correctly.

At the same time you have geolocation enabled, which works with sessions and is probably getting messed up by the problem above.

    Let us know,

    Thx

    Hi,

Do you mean the “Location Manager” plugin? Should I disable it? Or is there another setting? Everything I see currently looks like location services are disabled.

    Thanks,

    Jack

If you have more than 1 location, you should add the location switcher in the main menu. It can be added throught the location manager admin page.

If you use 1 location only you should disable both location manager and share location addons.

    Let me know,

Thanks – so the question is, if you have more than one city should it be considered multiple locations? It is all geographically in the same area (northern Kentucky). Or should I only add the Multi Location feature if we branch out to other parts of KY and have a Central Kentucky one and so on?

    Thanks,

    Jack

    Hi,

without multilocation, you can only make it work for 1 specific location in northern Kentucky.

    Thanks
