    Hi,
I have just installed the child theme modern and first thing I notice is that all the featured images have changed!

If I re-arrange the images and save the updates then that works fine but I can’t do that for 600+ accommodation entries every time there is a theme update. At present I am testing with only 12 entries thankfully.

    I just updated to GDv.1.2.1.

The problem now relating to place images is that when I upload images in the back end, the images appear to upload and the thumbnails appear in the back-end Place record, however when I Update/Save the record, the uploaded images disappear.

I am also not able to re-arrange images in the back end. The change reverts to the previous order upon saving/updating.

This test is with an existing record which already had one image. The original image remains. (I will next try with adding a new Place record with images).

BUT … I AM able to upload and re-arrange images using the front-end user GUI for editing the Place record, so this latest glitch seems to be only affecting the back-end.

I believe this is related to the removal of the additional info box, the script is still trying to verify it has been sent and because it has not been it does not save any info. We will be releasing a fix for this in a few hours.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I can confirm that this is still an issue. I updated a listing and noticed that the featured image was broken/missing, so I re-uploaded the image from the front-end and moved it to the left to make it featured. Just a moment ago I checked the listing and noticed that now all the other images (except the featured images) are broken/missing. Then I noticed that the broken image URL’s are all all pointing to “example.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/example.jpg”.

Here’s the thing: that image was uploaded in June, not September, so the path should have been /wp-content/uploads/2014/06/, not /wp-content/uploads/2014/09/. When I uploaded the new featured image, it appears that the path for all images was modified. If that’s the case, then anyone who edits their listing to add a new image will break all the others if the change doesn’t occur in the same month. Yikes!

I just tried – uploaded a new featured image – went fine, new image is in 2014-09 folder, older images in 2014-07 folder.
