I had the css code of .featured-area .geodir-category-list-in {display:none;} added in the css when I was using V1, now that I have upgraded to V2 my featured category icons are back to displaying on my home page.

I have treid to re-instert the additional css under customizing-additional css, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

please advise if there is something different that needs to be done in V2 to make this work.

    the website is notarybyzip.com

    thanks

Thank you for that information… two more questions.

    1. Is there a way to place an image or a button that I could place just under my search bar so that if someone doesn’t know their zipcode I can link it to a website they can look up their zipcode…. I found how I can add this in the “body” of the page, however I can’t add any widgets or buttons in the location where the categories showed up.

the only work around i found was where I added a “CALL TO ACTION MODULE” it on the “body” of the page and changed the alignment in the advanced tab. But I know that is not going to put it in a “fixed” place on the site… it will only show up where it does depending on what type of size of screen the site is being looked at.

    2. Is there a setting somewhere that makes the default image that I upload for the “background” of the top section of the page to be darker? it seems to have a filter on it or something. thx

    1. Supreme has only one content area inside the featured are on the front page, the subtitle. See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/supreme/#subtitle – You can add HTML there, so, a button.

    2. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#supreme-overlay
