    In GeoDirectory > Locations > Region Meta >

    I have uploaded a Featured Image for Texas. (I had to deactivate plugins)
    How can I get the image to show on social media when a link for /location/texas is shared?

    Thanks for your post. Could you install the Yoast SEO plugin. It should have an option for Open Graph Image https://kb.yoast.com/kb/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/

    I prefer to use Rank Math SEO plugin. It also has an option for Open Graph Image but it shows the same image regardless of Location.

    I’d like to take advantage of the Featured Image for each Location. Is there a way to put the image into the page but hidden? Then perhaps it will show when shared, if an Open Graph Image is not set.

    I’m using Listimia.

    There isn’t a way to do that right now without a customization. I will take this up as a suggestion for the developers to look into further.

    This worked for me when using GDV1 and Supreme Theme. I was using All-In-One SEO then.

    Supreme has a special feature to load the location image on the location page.

    Ok. I thought it was built into GeoDirectory since it is in the GeoDirectory settings to add a Featured Image for locations. It seems weird to offer it in the Location Meta settings if it is only utilized by a particular theme.

    Should I try taking this up with Listimia developers?

    We have plans to add it into an additional feature, probably an additional feature for the GD Location Description. The developers have a task to work on that but haven’t started it yet. I have made a note for them to update this topic with any news.
