Featured Image for RSS and third party plugins

    I have tried plugins like Go – Responsive Portfolio that works with custom post types taking his featured image, but is not working for gd-places.

    Same happens with rss feeds for gd-places: no image is recovered.

    It would possible that the first image uploaded to a listing would work like a standard wordpress featured image?

    We can definitely make images appear in RSS, not sure about having 1st image act as featured image…

    Well, i meant the GD Featured Image, not the 1st image necessarily.

    Its only that the GD Featured Image would works like a standard wordpress Featured Image

    I think I would like this too.

    There are sliders/portfolio add-ons, included with a lot of themes, that allow the featured image of a custom post type to be used. Is there a way to set the WP featured image for a GD listing?
